WE ARE FLOTILLA 07-10-10 OF THE ᅠ"SUPER 7" DISTRICT, HEADQUARTERED IN MIAMI.
OUR DIVISION 10, FLOTILLA 10, IS UNDER THE COMMAND OF COAST GUARD SECTOR CHARLESTON. OUR AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY (AOR) IS IN COASTAL GEORGIA AND STRETCHES FROM NORTHERN CUMBERLAND ISLAND TO SAPELO SOUND, INCLUDING DARIEN, BRUNSWICK , JEYKLL & ST SIMONS ISLAND’s.

WE CONDUCT MANY MISSIONS…Our various missions may be directed out of the Office of the Auxiliary/District 7 Miami, Coast Guard Sector Charleston and/or Station Brunswick. Here in our local Georgia coastal waters we conduct surface operations which includes; Search and rescue (SAR), harbor & safety patrols, marine event security, environmental protection, port security, CG & CGAUX crew training, surface facility platforms, Helo Ops, verify aids to navigation (ATON/PATON) or report decremencies, vessel inspections, aid to fellow mariners, etc. Additionally, some of us are lightkeepers, some of us stand the watch at CG Station Brunswick and some of us crew CG boats. Our Flotilla also participates in disaster relief with our own exclusive mobile command station. WE CONTINUALLY TRAIN TO BE SEMPER PARATUS (always ready).Auxiliarists teach novice to advanced boating safety classes, conduct free vessel safety checks for the public, provide  literature to our marine safety partners, participate in area community outreach/tent events as well as a variety of activities related to recreational boating safety.

FYI: The US Coast Guard considers the Auxiliary its primary resource for recreational boating safety outreach and prevention. Collectively, Auxiliarists volunteer over 4.5 million hours per year and complete nearly 500,000 missions – a true force multiplier for the Coast Guard! Last year Auxiliarists volunteer missions spent over 11,000 hours in the air and 170,000 hours on surface patrols which enabled Auxiliarists to save 332 lives and assist 9,548 others. We conducted 102,620 vessel safety checks and over 58,000 hours in the classroom conducting public education. But the CG Auxiliary is more than recreational boating safety; we regularly serve alongside our active-duty shipmates serving as communications watch standers, training resources for air and sea operations, numerous duties related to environmental protection, homeland security, and even as Aux chefs! In fact, there are nearly two dozen "qualifications" open to Auxiliarists willing to put in the time and training. Here at Coast Guard Station Brunswick, the Aux work’s to support both the station and the public. NOTE: We have both local and part-time local resident members who are all a productive part of Flotila 10-10.
